Abstract

With previous business recoveries marred by domestic components shortages — and the consequent dependence on foreign suppliers — a key aim of the Government's industrial strategy is the revival of small and medium‐sized firms on whom so much depends for industry's “bits and pieces”. Ken Gooding looks at the progress being made in this direction by the Government‐industry working parties.
