Abstract

The TUC campaign — backed by legislative proposals — to restrict shopfloor representation on pension fund management bodies to trade union members is meeting vociferous opposition from the CBI and the National Association of Pension Funds. And, according to one survey, employees — union and non‐union — are overwhelmingly against a scheme which has been dubbed ‘back‐door Bullockism’. Report by Matthew Collins.
