Abstract

Inflation and the present pay curbs are transforming fringe benefits from rarely‐given privileges to an expected part of the remuneration package. But how can companies quantify the advantages in terms of morale and staff loyalty? And to what extent do perks undermine pension entitlements? Alec Snobel considers these and other questions.
