Stand up and be beard
Abstract
In the war of words about the state of the economy and the role of industry, managers complain among themselves that their views are not being heard above the clamour of politicians and trade unionists. But as Sir Frederick Catherwood — chairman of the British Institute of Management — points out, this is largely their own fault.
