THE WIDER ASPECT OF COLLABORATION
Abstract
Dr Ranganathan said he entirely agreed with Mr. Carter's statement on the difficulties—language, finance, personnel and lack of adequate secretariat—of international meetings. Nevertheless, the value of a learned society could he no more than that of its individual members, and an international conference depended on the contributions of member nations. All nations were still inexperienced and needed education in their duties.
