Planning and producing the British National Bibliography on CD‐ROM

Abstract

The British National Bibliography (BNB) is now available on CD‐ROM. This paper describes the development of this database including the production and evaluation of a pilot CD‐ROM disc prepared by the British Library in conjunction with Bibliothèque Nationale in France. Examples of searching the CD‐ROM are included.
