Dr.‐lng. Max Schlötter GmbH & Co. KG, Geislingen, W. Germany

Abstract

When considering a technology as well established as electroplating, it seemed appropriate to visit this company with such a long history of involvement. It was 78 years ago that Dr.‐Ing. Max Schlötter formed an ‘electrochemical research laboratory’ in Leipzig, with the official opening date recorded as 12 September 1912. From this developed the Schlötter company, located in Geislingen in the province of Baden Württemberg since 1945, and recognised worldwide as a leading manufacturer of advanced processes and plant for the finishing industry.
