Legal implications of EDI settlements in Europe
Abstract
As the use of electronic data interchange (EDI) in international trade becomes more widespread, organisations are having to consider the legal implications, not only of transmitting such data in an electronic format but also of storing such data on magnetic media for periods of maybe up to fifteen years.
