Abstract

The new Heller 281 PCB lead trimmer from OK Machine & Tool (UK) Ltd. claims to achieve production rates of 10 to 30 times that of conventional handtool trimming with the advantages of uniform trim length and short flat lead ends, allowing boards to be racked more closely without risk of shorting or skin puncture from sharp ends. Furthermore, the unit is suitable for those wishing to trim as few as 100 PCBs per week.
