Photography for Printed Circuits
Abstract
This paper deals with the techniques and processes used in the manufacture of printed circuit boards from photographic masters. The basic theory is to produce the working photomasters, for silk screen or photo‐resist imaging, using as few steps as are compatible with the required quality and resolution. Various techniques will be discussed for artwork preparation, darkroom techniques and so on. This paper was originally presented at the First Printed Circuit World Convention held at the Cafe Royal, London in June, 1978.
