Abstract

Environment Minister Mr William Waldegrave recently urged the European Community to ban the use of lead in all paint sold in the EEC. He suggested that the European Commission should consider controls similar to those “already in place in the UK over the use of the most damaging types of marine anti‐fouling paints containing organo‐tin compounds.”
