Abstract

If our comments in past issues on over‐legislation in safety and environmental control should have implied that we are criticising the Health & Safety Executive, let us put the record straight by commending a most useful booklet they have just published on “Highly flammable liquids in the paint industry”. It is available from HM Stationery Office, price £1.00 plus postage. Besides giving an outline of legal requirements, the booklet details the precautions that should be taken by everyone concerned with the storage and use of these materials.
