Flying visit to Frankfurt

Abstract

AFTER Leningrad, there was only one other place on my see‐before‐I‐die list, and that was Frankfurt am Main—or rather, that great chunk of it called the Internationale Messestadt when it is housing the Book Fair. Now I have been there, too—predisposed to be impressed, of course—and I was not disappointed.
