The Shallow end

Abstract

TWENTY‐SEVEN YEARS ago we had the Library Association Conference in London. I say ‘we’ because I wangled two half days off during the week and attended two sessions. On the strength of that I went around for years mentioning ‘my first conference in 1950’.
