Information services in social welfare

Abstract

THE SOCIAL SERVICES have seen big developments in recent years. In particular, reorganisation of local authority social service departments, and the concept of corporate planning as outlined in the Bains report, are creating a situation with quite new organisational problems. With growth and with organisational change, information problems need to be looked at afresh.
