Shannon Move into the Video Age With the Photophone

Abstract

SHANNON Aerospace of Co.Clare, Ireland, have installed ImageBase Technology's PC‐Photophorle systerm. The system consists of a Compaq 486 PC and the Photophone PC Upgrade Kit which transmits and receives full colour still video images (as well as voice) over a standard telephone line. Additional equipment includes Still Video Cameras and a Colour Video Printer, for hard copy output of images.
