Abstract

On the occasion of the 89th anniversary of the Wright Brothers' historic flight, Boeing's new president, Philip M. Condit, told an audience at the Royal Aeronautical Society that since its inception, the aviation industry has advanced because of the sharing of ideas and resources, a tradition that remains today in Boeing's development of its newest jetliner, the 777.
