Electric Discharge Machining (EDM) to Five Micron Accuracy

Abstract

PRESS tools, dies, moulds and other precision components may be produced to within dimensional tolerances of five microns using a new, super‐precision, wire‐cut EDM machine from Bridgeport Machines Ltd, Leicester.
