Abstract
Recent articles in aviation magazines have drawn comparisons between a new arrival in the aviation market, the four‐engined BAe 146 and the new Fokker F28 Mk4000 Fellowship twinjet. In one publication a single aspect of the fuel burn of the two aircraft has been presented, to the apparent disadvantage of the Fokker F28.
