The role of the Intermediate‐size Helicopter

Abstract

About two‐thirds of the helicopters sold in the next decade will be for commercial uses. A forecast by Sikorsky of world helicopter market trends and growth also reveals that the helicopter industry's gross sales of about US$17 billion for the past ten years will nearly double in the next decade to about US$32 billion in 1981 dollars.
