Abstract

Brief Particulars of Recently Introduced Materials likely to have Aircraft, Missile or Space Vehicle Applications. Nobel Division has added another product Silcopac 121 to its silicone sales range. Silcopac 121, which was extensively evaluated as an experimental product (E.P. 5933), is solvent‐free, two‐pack silicone RTV (room‐temperature‐vulcanising) compound specially designed for void‐filling and potting electrical and electronic components. It is cured, on the addition of the curing agent, from a low‐viscosity liquid to a soft resilient rubber with excellent dielectric properties and resistance to extremes of temperature, tracking, and corona.
