Developments in Transport Aircraft Interior Design: A brief review of the philosophies, problems and prospects of transport aircraft interior design in the 1970s
Abstract
BY common consent, air transport is heading for a dramatic expansion in the decade just dawning, and by 1980 the volume of air traffic in the free world is predicted to be at least three times what it is today (around 300 million passengers in 1970). This means that around a 1,000 million passengers will be travelling by air per year by 1980 and air transport will almost certainly be the world's biggest industry.
