Abstract

THE Oxford Dictionary once defined Handley Page as a type of large aeroplane! Certainly, Handley Page Ltd. has been in the large aeroplane business for many years. The Victor's 120 ft. span was matched in 1918 by that of the V/1500—another V bomber, fifty years ago!
