Abstract

The design of a fully‐automatic fusion welder of the boom manipulator type has been announced by Sciaky Bros. Inc., 4915 W. 67th Street, Chicago 38, Ill., U.S.A. Two were specially built for North American's Los Angeles Division and for the past ten months the machines have been used successfully to Tungsten Inert Gas (T.I.G.) weld various sub‐assemblies including brazed honeycomb configurations.
