Developments in Steel and Titanium

Abstract

WILLIAM Jessop & Sons Ltd., Brightside Works, Sheffield, have in recent years concentrated on the manufacture and marketing of steel and other special metals to particular requirements. With such a programme extensive research facilities are needed and some 190 physicists, metallurgists, chemists, engineers and other technologists are employed in the Company's research laboratories.
