The Stressing of Cabins Under Uniform Pressure: Approximate End Loads, Shears and Bending Moments in Non‐Circular Former Rings of a Cabin Subjected to Uniform Internal Pressure
Abstract
AS an approach to the determination of the end loads, shears and bending moments induced by uniform pressure in a cabin former ring of any odd shape, it is instructive to observe how the end loads, shears and bending moments vary in a cabin ring according to changes in the space parameters of cabins of simple mathematical form. The condition of a cabin under uniform internal pressure only is dealt with.
