Abstract
THERE is a matter which has been forced on our notice very much this summer. It is linked up more perhaps with what may be called the prestige of aviation than with its technique and to a large extent concerns the pilot rather than the designer. On the other hand, we believe it to be of such supreme importance that it has become one with which we ought to deal.
