FIGHTING FOR ACCESS TO INFORMATION
Abstract
Since the late 1970's, librarians have been involved in the struggle against the continuing erosion of access to information. This erosion is largely a result of two converging developments: computer‐driven publishing technologies and shifts in the information policies of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and the Government Printing Office (GPO).
