Search ware: for online access by novice users

Abstract

The Searchware package aids personal computer users in formulating search strategies for online databases. Novice users can fill out a simplified screen‐displayed worksheet and the package will produce search commands, syntax and search logic. It handles user errors with ease, comes with clear instructions, and is offered by a helpful vendor.
