Anthologies of Foreign‐Born Women Writers
Abstract
Small presses are particularly noted for publishing collections of short stories, essays, and poetry. They are often the first to discover and publish new material on subjects not yet popular, and often introduce emerging new writers. In this column I will be discussing some new anthologies published by small presses which reflect some of the recent trends I have observed in small press publishing such as more writing by women, work by writers from other countries, and thematic anthologies reflecting current issues.
