Abstract

Arrangements for alloying virgin aluminium in the UK, for the foundry alloy market have been completed between Kaiser Aluminium and BKL. The metal is being alloyed at BKL's Birmingham works to Kaiser standards and specifications. The ingots will be cast in long shapes which simplify furnace charging for the user.
