Commentary
Abstract
Education in corrosion and anti‐corrosion. LAST month these columns carried a few facts and figures on education in corrosion in the USA. It was remarked that, surprisingly, the latter had actually decreased in extent over the past eight years, although the falling‐off did not seem to be a serious one. To leave this as the most important fact of the matter would be unfair since it is obvious that Americans continue to be very alive to the ubiquitous problems of corrosion and the necessity of countering it on all fronts. After all, they do more about it than anyone else.
