CORROSION RESEARCH ROUND‐UP

Abstract

With the accentuation of working conditions (higher temperatures, higher pressures, higher concentrations) in many fields of chemical processing, the protection of containers against corrosion caused by the chemicals inside has become a matter of great importance. Among the protective measures is the use of acid‐proof (or alkali‐proof) brickwork for the flagging and lining of the containers.
