ENERGY COSTS: Their future impact on the industry
Abstract
It is unlikely that oil production will rise by more than 2% a year over the next decade, according to James Morrell. In the short term, this means that the world energy crisis is urgent and costs will rise, unless immediate practical measures are taken. However, Britain is fortunate compared with other countries in having a diversified supply of raw fuel and in fairly abundant form.
