Abstract

It is only comparatively recently that management education at postgraduate level has received wide acceptance by British industry. There have been some dramatic developments in the study of management problems at university level, culminating in the creation of the two graduate business schools at London and Manchester which are due to open their doors soon. Yet, with the shortcomings of British export performance becoming an increasingly important political and economic issue, there is surely a strong case for all such resources as are now becoming available in the educational world being used to tackle this question.
