COPYRIGHT AT THE CROSSROADS
Abstract
TO a certain extent, the field of copyright has always been the scene of a contest between owner and user. The creator of a particular work, or the owner of it, has generally been interested in obtaining the best possible price for the commodity; the user by contrast has naturally sought to obtain the material which he wished to exploit on the most favourable terms.
