Capacitive Measurement System for Blade Clearances

Abstract

With the increasing optimization of turbine engines, there is a growing demand for precise measurement equipment. The minimal tip blade clearance in such an engine is one of the main parameters governing its efficiency. It is not sufficient to rely on laboratory results but to prove them under actual flight conditions.
