Epoxy Resins
Abstract
Introduction Epoxy resins continue to captivate the imagination of the paint chemist. Indeed, more articles are published on epoxy resins than on any other polymer of importance in paint chemistry. In 1951, approximately 3.7 million pounds of epoxy resins were produced. This had increased to an estimated 157 million pounds in 1968—roughly a compounded annual growth rate of twenty‐five per cent per year over a seventeen year period.
