Abstract
EFFECTIVELY a simple corrosion cell may be considered as a representative case of an electrolytic cell. In any electrolytic cell the pattern of the inflow of the current at the cathode is dependent upon the position of the anode with reference to the cathode and the geometry of the profile of the cathode.
