APPLICATIONS OF ULTRASTABILITY

Abstract

Ross Ashby's concept of ultrastability in a cybernetic system is shown to have certain mathematical properties of considerable importance for workers in operational research and allied fields. One application is in the study of centralization vs. de‐centralization within an organization.
