High‐pressure spray equipment for rust prevention
Abstract
Before high‐pressure spray painting techniques were introduced, during the late 1950s and the early 1960s, the use of spray equipment to apply rust‐preventive coatings to metal was very rare. In those days, applying anti‐rust paints to such things as steel structures, ships or tanks meant using a roller or brush. There were a few instances of spray guns being used, but these were practically all in factories.
