The evaluation of corrosion problems (part 3)
Abstract
A CORROSION PROBLEM can be considered to be solved correctly when the item under protection has lasted, free of corrosion, for its required useful life. Thus, successful corrosion solutions can only be labelled as such after they have proved themselves. It is because of this that the solving of corrosion problems is more of an art than an applied science. There are, naturally, a number of rules that can be applied, but past experience plays a greater part than any other aspect.
