A case for discussion

Abstract

The formation, in 1974, of the Case Clearing House of Great Britain and Ireland, as a national resource centre for management case material is indicative of the renewed interest in the case study as a learning vehicle. Case Development Workshops have been sponsored recently in Europe by the Ford Foundation and in the UK the Department of Education and Science is currently sponsoring a series of Case Development Workshops for management teachers from the Regional Management Centres. The first of these DES workshops was completed in June 1975, and its tangible results in the form of completed case studies are now available from CCH‐GBI.
