PASIO 50 balancing machine
PASIO 50 balancing machine
Drawing on its years of experience as a provider of balancing solutions, Schenck RoTec has launched the new PASIO 50 – an innovative dynamic horizontal balancing machine that takes the complexity out of balancing and makes the end-to-end process more reliable and efficient.
The PASIO 50 has a high performance drive that enables accurate balancing of a wide range of rotors, including cylindrical and disc shaped rotors up to 50kg and with a diameter of up to 600mm and length of up to 1,100mm. It has a measurement accuracy of 0.1mm and has been designed so that even the occasional balancer is able to use it with ease and reach the same accurate results as experienced users.
It is quick and simple to set up with the rotor being driven by belt drive that ensures the highest measurement accuracy. The machine can be easily adjusted for any size of rotor without the need for specialist tools. The belt is guided vertically from the rotor to prevent any distortion and the protective shroud manufactured to ISO7475 standards, provides users with complete protection.
The PASIO 50s compact design means it takes up very little room – saving up to 60 percent of space when compared to conventional balancing machines of similar capacity. The base is made from sturdy modern mineral cast material that helps ensure consistent accurate readings by damping vibrations up to 10-times more than conventional grey case iron. It is designed to be easily transported and simply needs to be lifted into the required position and connected to a power supply. No other fixing is required.
The PASIO 50 can be used in conjunction with either Schenck's CAB 700 or CAB 920 measuring units. The CAB 700 is said to be a cost effective, universal solution with digital display whilst the CAB 920 system is Schenck's latest generation of measuring instrumentation with colour graphics and touch screen operation providing unmatched versatility and accuracy. Schenck's easyMode and individually assigned function keys make the CAB systems easy to control and the clear vector and numerical displays show the exact location and size of the unbalance at a glance.
