Status of quality assurance enhanced by Crossair
Status of quality assurance enhanced by CrossairKeywords: Crossair, Quality assurance
Crossair reports that it is upgrading the status of quality assurance and making it directly answerable to senior management. The company is thus increasing its efforts in the interests of reliable flight operations. In addition, the remit of quality assurance is being extended to cover the entire group.
Managed by Remy Steinmann, the quality assurance department guarantees that flight and maintenance operations comply with the regulations, oversees staff training in these fields and regularly checks that the prescribed standards are being met. It also analyses any discrepancies of an aeronautical or technical nature and is an important element in maintaining dependable flight operations.
The joint aviation requirements issued by the European Civil Aviation Authorities, which are also accepted by Switzerland, provide the foundation on which dependable flight operations are based.
