A new company, Aircraft Management Technologies, has been formed to provide technology solutions to commercial airline operations. The company, we understand, has been funded by venture capitalists, Delta Partners and under the agreement, Delta will take a minority stake in the company.

AirCraft Management Technologies has been co-founded by Bernard Hensey who joined the company as chief executive. Bernard was previously group vice president, sales and marketing for FLS Aerospace and managing director of FLS Aerospace in Dublin (formerly TEAM Aer Lingus). His co-founder and managing director Steve Hardgrave is a former US Navy plilot with over 18 years experience in aviation and aerospace, who was previously managing director of Sermatech UK and vice president/general manager with Pratt & Whitney in Ireland and the USA.
