Rolls-Royce informs us that it has won an order from Cathay Pacific to supply RB211 engines for two additional Boeing 747-400 freighters.
The first aircraft is scheduled for delivery in September 2000, with the second joining the fleet in 2001, which will bring the total of Cathay's RB211 powered 747s to 23 aircraft.
