TCS Associate David Harding recently won the £200 runner-up prize for his presentation at a seminar in London last December about a TCS Programme between British Aerospace Airbus and the University of Warwick (Plate 9).

David, a manufacturing engineering graduate, was a member of "The Lean Wing Project" team which has been helping BAe Airbus, based at Broughton, near Chester, to identify innovative ways of improving its production processes and reducing manufacturing costs and cycle times for wings for the new Airbus A340 passenger aircraft.
