Boeing investment in interactive product simulation software

Division Group plc has announced that The Boeing Company has taken delivery of a large interactive product simulation (IPS) system for its design, manufacturing and producibility simulation (DMAPS) facility in St Louis, USA (formerly part of the McDonnell Douglas Corporation).

"The software is being used to conduct regular design reviews on major aircraft programs in St Louis," said Charles Grimsdale, managing director of Division. "This latest installation of Silicon Graphics workstations, dVISE software and services at Boeing in St Louis demonstrates DMAPS's growing use of Division's dVISE software as an integral part of their design process."
