The new product summary by UK welding consumables manufacturer Metrode Products has been produced.

Metrode has presented its portfolio in a colourful format, identifying three types of high-tech industrial emphasis - low alloy steels for the power industry, stainless steels for offshore construction, and high temperature alloys for heat resisting applications - one range of materials, nickel-based alloys - and the traditional repair and maintenance market.

In all of these Metrode has developed electrodes, solid wires and flux cored wires which, it claims, ensure the optimum combination of efficiency, operability, metallurgical integrity and cosmetic appearance.

There are some photographic images among the illustrations, the pages contain "Did you know..." comments, and a variety of useful charts and tables provide information to help the welding engineer identify the best materials and estimate quantities.
